As the summer-like temperatures heat up the region, Kennywood Park is expanding its daily operations to cover every day of the week. According to a Kennywood press release, demand is up for the region's largest amusement park, as are the number of applicants applying to open roles, which has positioned the park to expand to new daily operations on Wednesdays after starting the season in May by only operating Fridays through Sundays.
Effective June 9, Kennywood will be open every day of the week. In total, the park will add nine operating days to its season which has been expanded to the end of October. Last year, the amusement park reduced its daily operations during the Covid pandemic and amid low demand. Always be sure to check the official site for hours and days of operation! Hello Kathy, the only way I know of to buy official Kennywood merchandise is going to the park and their gift shops.
Unless you are gifted one by someone else who bought one, you need to go to the park to buy them. Yes, Kennywood has a Ride Admission Policy for guests with disabilities. Kennywood is an amazing place to go. Although if you want to go on water ride like raging Rapids I would bring a bathing suit you will get sobbing wet.

This a violation of federal law which limits the slope of wheel chair ramps. The tunnels are too steep to safely allow a wheelchair to be pushed up and down. I suggest the gate next to the park which is flat and goes to the pavilions. I could be wrong but IF I remember right the Gate C is on the north side of the highway main parking is on the south side of highway.
